Briefly introduce: the processing technology of self-locking tuning screw for 5G filter.
The processing technology of 5G filter self-locking tuning screw is based on high precision, high conductivity and stable self-locking, which meets the requirements of RF tuning and anti-looseness. The main flow and key features are as follows:
I. Core process (typical staggered/slotted self-locking structure)
H65 brass, beryllium bronze and other high conductivity and machinable materials are preferred for material selection and preparation to ensure RF performance and mechanical strength. The fixed length bar is obtained by precision cutting/laser cutting, and the end face is chamfered and deburred.
Cold Upsetting Forming At room temperature, the head (cross/straight groove) and the rod are formed at one time by a cold upsetting machine, which improves the density and strength and avoids the material waste and precision loss caused by cutting.
Machining of self-locking structure (core process)
Staggered thread: two groups of threads with the same pitch and staggered phase are processed twice, and friction self-locking occurs after assembly.
Grooving deformation: axially grooving (2-4 grooves) in the head or rod to form an elastic section, which will lock the threaded hole to prevent loosening when tightening.
Thread processing: thread precision (±0.02-±0.05mm) is ensured by thread rolling/turning, and the thread hole of filter cover plate is adapted.
Deburring and cleaning shall be carried out by chemical deburring or sandblasting to remove the burrs of threads and notches; Ultrasonic cleaning removes oil stains and debris to avoid affecting assembly and electrical performance.
Copper and silver plating (5–15μ m) is common in surface treatment, which can improve conductivity, reduce high frequency loss, and enhance wear resistance and oxidation resistance. Some high-end products can be plated with gold or passivated.
The dimensional accuracy (thread, length and coaxiality) of detection and screening shall be detected by imager/thread gauge; Self-locking torque, conductivity, salt spray test, etc. are all inspected/sampled to ensure consistent performance.
Second, the process core characteristics
Accuracy first: the dimensional tolerance is controlled within ±0.02mm, and the coaxiality is less than or equal to ≤0.03mm, thus ensuring the tuning stability.
Reliable self-locking: the staggered/slotted structure does not need additional nuts, and it can still maintain the locking effect after repeated debugging.
Conductivity adaptation: copper base+silver plating/gold plating, giving consideration to conductivity and mechanical strength, reducing RF signal attenuation.
Efficiency balance: cold heading+wire rolling mass production, with ultrasonic cleaning and automatic detection, improve productivity and consistency.
